I am going to plant ( and hope at least one germinates) 1247 Handy 2003 (695 Handy 01 x 801.5 Stelts 97) 1016 Deletas 01 (705 Stelts x 846 Calai) 856 Dill 03 ( 846 Calai x 810 Dill) 735 Pukos 01 (846 Calai x Self) 713 Kurkowski 01 (846 Calai x 668 Kurkowski) All but the 856 Dill have produced pumpkins over 1000 lbs. Not sure what the biggest one the 856 grew because I can't find much on it.

The Site Search window called and said 'Where the Hell is everybody? I should've been put on every page at the top right---oh, there I am..." Maybe you've seen these, but... "Found 20 items containing keyword 856 dill." I suggest only looking at the listed pics, or you'll be looking fruitlessly for other pics. I think you'll be pleased---eg

Am trying to figure out what way I want to go with this. Actually temped to go after reviving the Stellpflug squash line if I can get them to sprout. I also have my last 900 Lyons seeds burning a hole in my hoard. If I go pumpkin, probably plant some 567 Mombert offspring. I think in the end it will be a crapshoot as the germination percentage is so low, it may just be whatever comes up and looks half way decent. My wife and I are going through and auditing all my old seeds, both my own and ones I have received from other growers. Once that is done I will prep for 3 rounds of probably 50 seeds in the incubator. When I did this a couple years ago, I only got 2 seeds to go from before 2000 out of 300 seeds, a 940 Mombert 98 and an 846 Richart from 1995.

I dont have enough old seeds to be picky. 2/300 I guess I should be really happy with 1/3. 895 Nesbitt 2002 is alive. I have some McIntire seeds somewhere as backups if needed.

I would have chosen a more genetically unique lineage than the Nesbitt its all 935 Lloyd and 723 Bobier. Not exactly unique genetics but oh well :)

Total shot in the dark, anyone know the parentage of the 340 Fulps 1985 or the 410 Schaffer 1982? I have enough of those two left to give them one more try but don't have lineage on them.

Ag teacher, I have a 1000.5 Kurkowski I can send you for backup. It’s 713xself. I grew the 713 in 2016 and got a 336 est on about 200square foot plant- 713 x 2230 Wallace. I could send a few your way if you like the 713 line.

Not in the contest but tried one 834 Gadberry 03 squash seed a few days early anticipating issues and needing a backup later. It popped right at 48 hrs. Good luck to all!

Okay Round 1 is in the incubator. After last year, I have low expectations for germination, so expecting at least 2 rounds... 699 Krogh 1998 - 1 and all the rest are from 2000. 567.4 Patrick - 4 990 Hebb - 2 910 Stellpflug - 2 600 Glasier - 4 567 Zunino - 2 808 Daletas - 3 550 Skinner - 2 601 Shue - 2 823 Dill - 1 502 Holland - 2 798 Calai - 1 585 LaRue - 1 629 Holland - 2 730 Sherwood - 3 1010 LaRue - 3 934 Mombert - 2 552 Millican - 4 565 Eisenhaur - 2 741 Calai - 1 Tried to go heavy on the orange in the off chance that I get more than 1 to germinate, I can then keep them as a for sale pumpkin and save seeds without wasting a site or a seed. Next batch will have my 582 in it pretty heavy.

pretty funny---i just had a packet of 567.4 Patrick seeds AND the 550 Skinner seeds in my hands, transferring them and lots of others from a gallon jar to a large ZipLoc bag to make room in that gallon jar for more seeds I'm still signing-in from '06 when i had many seed requests for my 912.5; ahhh, still Good Pumpkin Times to be had, lol---eg
