I ended up with a deep ribbed but very white 1091 off the 1568...pollinated with 985 Werner...nice growing plant that was easy to maintain...I know some other local growers here in Minny had some problems getting pollinations to take on the 1568...don't know if others did...my first pollination split wide open around day 15?? don't know what ever happened...hope this helps...Jim

That was my 1568 Connolly from last year, 575 lbs. http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/1285/1568connolly2309.jpg Unfortunately he got a poor patch that was lawn before and I had not the time to prepare the patch better.

It grew my patch best 1169 last year. No complaints here. No problems at all with pollination. I'm trying something different this year, but not because anything's wrong with the 1568 in my experience. There are pics in my diary and on aggc.
