while dave was lifting the pumpkin, his eye brows brushed up on the side of the pumpkin that caused a huge deep gash that ended up breaching the cavity. (so it was growers error.) LOL (kIDDING)

The 1276 was our 2nd best fruit from last year and was still doing close to 30 a day when it got a very small split the first part of September. I really think this seed would have way more attention had it made it to the end and would have weighed in the 1,500# range no problem.
Brooks I have had problems in the past with the brow damaging fruit so I now use a very large sweat band to guard from any accidents.

Thanks Dave, I got a 1424.5 Werner in the GVGO raffel and it looks like a good one. I was just wondering what happened to one of its offspring.
