I am looking for information about the 846 Calai. I have been going through my seeds and have noticed it a parent. I know nothing about the seed except for the cross of it. Any information would be helpful as well as a picture if possible.
Thanks Joe

the 846 calai is probably the #1 contributer of orange genetics in the "modern" gene pool.

That's great to know about the orange. I checked out the pages but I haven't been able to find a picture of it yet. Anyone happen to have one out there. Thanks

Go to: http://www.aggc.org/aggc_main.asp
On the left side, scroll down to the 1011 Summers 2006 and click on it.
You will see the seed info displayed on the center of your screen, go down to the mother seed which was the 846 Calai, click on the 846 Calai, this will display the information for the 846 Calai seed. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page you will see the pic of the 846

If you go back up twds the top of the page and click on the "1st Gen progeny" it will display all of the known pumpkins that was grown from the 846 seed. NOTE: These are only the pumpkins that were submitted to the aggc site, there are more out there most likely.
