I only find 3 offspring from this cross:
1112.8 Daletas (723 Bobier x 898 Knauss) 1005 Miller (723 Bobier x 898 Knauss) 925 Ceja (898 Knauss x 723 Bobier)
Only the 1005 shows up as having any offspring listed. Seems like good parents, any reason why these aren't planted more?

I could be wrong, but I think I recall a Mombert pumpkin that was 723 X 898. The reason they aren't planted more is because Quinn Werner has proven any of the seeds yet.....just kidding. On paper they seem like very good crosses.

I don't know if Kirk Mombert ever grew a 723 x 898 cross but I do know that his 1024 Mombert 03 is the same cross as the 1068 Wallace and is a very under planted seed, as are the other 9 or 10 of the same cross. The short answer may be because there are just too many potentially good crosses out there and not enough growers, but there are other factors as well. Good post.
