1507 Jutras
Ah heck, I give up. I guess I'll plant them both beside a 1147 Shenoah and hope I don't kill'em all!!

I agree with Phil...with the GVGO seed endorsment prize money...the 1156 Hunt will likely see the most dirt and therefore will have the most 1K fruit. If you want to get in on this...join the GVGO today.

I would pick between these three... 1413.5 Werner, 1500.5 Revier and the 1156 Hunt.

There will be many 1000 pound plus pumpkins grown in this neck of the woods on the 1288 Wallace - 1385 Jutras x 1207 Young.

have to agree with Phil & John the seed which sees the most dirt..the GVGO has put together a good program with a hot seed the 1156 Hunt should grow many 1000 pounders..

1209 Kuhn and 1500 Revier, only reason why they wouldn't is both had low seed counts, but a high % of whats grown from them will be giants.

I like the 1209 Kuhn as well. It was a very nicely shaped pumpkin, from the pic I saw on the AGGC. Quite heavy to the chart as well.

sorry for tooting our own horn but take a close look at the 1288 wallace. she was a very late pollination but caught up really fast and had it not been for a huge rain storm would have still ended up in the fourteens or better? 1385 x 1207 young --- great cross. it was in bubbles and promo packs this year. it will be in our patch this year. pap

Shazzy, You'll have to ask them. I'm a long way from that heavy hitter club. That 1500 Revier intrigues me, but I don't know what the big boys think of it.

They might plant that "Beast From the East" for an '08 seed (but like the 1500 Revier seed it has the DMG label). The 1507 Jutras should be hot out East. That 1483 Werner should also be popular. The 1536 Van Kooten ought to see some quality dirt as well- particularly out west. I guess we'll have to stay tuned and see.
