Does anybody have an image of the 1413,5 Werner 08. Anybody know if it was on chart heavy or light? Thanks in advance, Luc B.

Luc, the 1413.5 Werner was 7.48 over chart grown from his 1556 which was 4.71 under. All it means is Quinn grows big heavy pumpkins. I wouldn't be influenced by over/under, the 1556 mother and 1385 father make it a nice cross. Sorry, I don't have a photo.

luc the 1413.5 was a little over 7 % over chart, it was a DMG it had a small split underneath it when we lifted it to weigh it before the OVGPG weigh off, I should have took it to a weigh off a week earlier it would have been fine then. The 1413.5 The plant was one of the healthiest plant's I grew this year. The pollinator was the 1385 that grew my 1483.5 that went almost 12% over chart. The 1483.5 had no internal cracks when I cut it open, that being said the 1413.5 will get a prime spot in my patch next year. I can't post a picture from my home computer but when I'm at work Monday I will post one.

Luc, the 1413 is one of my favorite 08 seed to grow for next year. There is not to many seeds out there that have grown a 1400 lb pumpkin that also had a pollinator plant that was crossed into it that grew a pumpkin close to a 1500 lb pumpkin. Only other seed I can think of off the top of my head with out looking is the 1450 Wallace, and its pollinator was off the plant that grew the 1502 Wallace. Without question this seed is definitely going in a prime spot in my patch next year also.

My favorite 2008 Werner seed is the 1472.5 (985 Werner X 998 Pukos), it is being planted by me in 2009!

1413.5 could be a great seed. I was really impressed by the 1556.5 that I planted this year and the 1385 speaks for itself already. This cross should grow a lot of big, heavy, pumpkins with outstanding structural integrity.
