Jos did a 998.5self. Joe Pukos did the 998.5 x sibb- 1149.5 Pukos 07. I don't know of anyone else.

I think the 1468 richards is a 998 x self,, but i was thinking about sibs...they seem to perfrom better...historically...

a selfed pumpkin is pollinated with pollon from the same plant the fruit is grown on. sibbed you would need pollon from a second plant grown from the same seed stock.

Sibbs have been prefered to selfs generally because some pumpkins like the 1450 Wallace (1068 x sibb) have preformed well. I don't believe there is any real data that proves that however. I think we will see more self and sibb seeds grown in the future as we see more success with each.

thanks pap i was trying to find some sib seeds with no luck. i take it that "sib" is short for "sibling" (brother or sister). i'm learning new things all of the time.
