The pumpkins on my 1689 Jutras plant are torpedo shaped. What shape are other growers seeing on the 1689 ?

I pollinated the 1689 by the 1502. Mine has not reached day 10 yet, but it is a similar shape.

Mine's nice and round - perfect sphere at 17 days old and 65 pounds.

Phil..... I don't think that there is anything wrong with a torpedo shape. I was curious as to how many different shapes the 1689 is throwing.

My 1689 is at 120 ott on day 14 & seems to be round good shape, nice grower! But plant does not handle heat (atleast when leaves are forming) Iv used shade cloth 2 x 20 ft over new growth,

I think you will need a bigger piece of Mill Fabric soon.

I shuld also add that the 1689 itself had one of the best looking shapes I have ever seen on a Giant Pumpkin.
