I recieved seeds from Brett today. I I was curious if the pollinating plant on the 1100 was the 898 that grew his 1257.5 that was 21% heavy. If so this looks like a real good cross 19% hevy x 21% heavy

Sam Another really interesting thing is the 898 fruit was the biggest ever grown on the 898. And Brett said the color of the fruit was awsome His comment to me was plant it and hang on for a wild ride. Eddy

Sam, I assumed that the 898 pollinator is the plant that grew his 1257.5. Look at what I posted here. http://www.bigpumpkins.com/msgboard/ViewThread.asp?b=19&p=238906 But you know what they say when you assume. You make an ass out off u and me. I hope I am right and I hope I get my bubble back from Brett :-) I think these will be great seeds.

planting two unproven seeds this year and the 1257.5 is one of them. Not only was it 21% heavy but also was a beautiful orange color, it was Brett's Golden Globe entry at Canby this year. Orange from the 898, who knew?

I really like the 1100. How about this cross.
1100 Hester x 1041 McKie
19% x 21% crossed with 18% x 21%
How could you go wrong with this? Could be a rock.
