I like it Long Beard, I like it alot. I think alot of growers will be growing that seed this year, I know of a few heavy hitters that have it on there list to grow next year.

That does look great!!! Look at it this way: Both parents- 1068 and 998 have produced pumpkins over 1500 lbs!

Was the pollinating plant the plant that produced, Joe's 1689 lber? If so, it would be a cross of two plants that produced a combined weight of 3074 lbs. of pumpkins. I don't know of any other cross that tops that....one pumpkin per plant that is.

Yes, it is the heaviest cross ever. The pollinator was the 1689 producer. I'm growing it this coming season and plan on crossing it with the 1446 Werner or 806 McKie. I would cross it with the 1450 Wallace if I had one.
