            | TruckinPunkin | Brownsville, MD | I think reptiles are pretty cool, so a Komodo Dragon would be pretty sweet.
What exotic pet would you own, if you could?

            | Pumpkinman Dan | Johnston, Iowa | We own a Bearded Dragon (lizard). Her name is Spike. Spike got an infection in one of her legs, and it had to be amputated. So we have a 3-legged bearded dragon. Not exactly a Tiger, but still exotic! | 12/26/2020 6:48:18 PM |

            | Smallmouth | Upa Creek, MO | Growing up with a dad who was a state herpetologist, I had a lot of reptiles and amphibians as pets. I had all sorts of snakes from natives like Black Rat Snakes to exotic Burmese Pythons. We had Iguana's, various Gecko's, and a bunch of aquatic and terrestrial turtles. At on point I had so many pet snakes, I breed mice in my basement to feed them.
My mom somehow always had the worst end of the deal. Once, I had caught a 6 foot Black Rat snake at our river cabin, and we were driving home while I had it stored in a pillow case tied in a knot. It got loose on the 2 hour trip home at some point and crawled up into the floorboards, and stayed up there somewhere for close to a week. She was miserable driving to the work daily not knowing if the snake was still in there behind the dashboard. We found it hungry on a seat 6 days later. Another time a California Kingsnake got out of an aquarium and we couldn't find it anywhere in my house. My mom went to take a shower one evening, and she opened the curtain to find it wrapped around the shower head.

Now a days we just have a dog, cat, hamster and fish. I'll most likely get a snake for the boys soon, but it'll probably just be something we catch locally.

            | spudder | | Mongoose and then take it to visit Smallmouth after he gets his snake.(just kidding) | 12/27/2020 7:01:00 AM |

            | Little Ketchup | Grittyville, WA | Antlions are cool. Low maintenance and low cost? But on par with watching star wars for (morbid) entertainment. I think if little boys like Cuomo and Newsom had one of these plus a magnifying glass they'd have pretty much everything they ever wanted. | 12/27/2020 8:21:15 AM |

            | 719.5 Pounder | North Of The Border | I would have to go with a Marmoset. It is a type of monkey that is extremely tiny, and really cute. | 12/27/2020 3:47:25 PM |

            | Porkchop | Central NY | A couple shoebill storks would look cool out in the patch... | 12/28/2020 10:13:33 AM |

            | Colorado Pumpkin | Parker, CO | A Komodo dragon - I can make this happen! | 12/29/2020 9:40:43 PM |

            | Reeds Birds and Bees | Savage, MN | I really like reptiles and own crested geckos right now. If I could own three reptiles I would want a croc monitor, Galapagos tortoise, and boelens python. | 12/29/2020 11:38:44 PM |

            | TruckinPunkin | Brownsville, MD | Ok, Colorado.... It’s not realistic, but I have to know. How can you make a Komodo Dragon happen? | 12/30/2020 1:31:40 AM |

            | Reeds Birds and Bees | Savage, MN | If you get the right permits I'm pretty sure you can own a komodo dragon. I have heard of a few private keepers owning them but its a lot of hoops to jump through. If anyone on here could do it it would be Chad, I mean he does own a reptile/pet shop. | 12/30/2020 10:28:05 AM |

            | Porkchop | Central NY | Oooo...kewl...any way To get the storks? | 12/30/2020 12:42:28 PM |

            | Reeds Birds and Bees | Savage, MN | I'm pretty sure shoebill storks you can't own but you might be able to own other species like saddlebill storks. Cranes are a similar bird and you can own several species of them. Hell Porkchop, just get a couple of attack ostriches to keep intruders out of the pumpkin and mater patch. | 12/30/2020 2:01:09 PM |

            | Porkchop | Central NY | Oh heck yea...you can ride an ostrich...I change my mind...ostrich... | 12/30/2020 5:46:00 PM |
