I just finished putting up my garden trellis that I'm using for long gourds and skyrocket tomatoes. I used 1 inch galvanized plumbing pipe (two 10 ft.pieces connected for each side) that I got at Home Depot, and livestock fencing that I got from www.farmtek.com. I used heavy duty zip-ties to put on the fencing to the pipe. I dug the holes down to 3 ft. and used concrete to secure them. I still have to put the bottom 8 ft. section of fencing on the bttom half. I put the thing up and realized how you could see it a mile away with the galvanized metal; so I went back to Home Depot and bought some green paint and painted it. Not finished with the painting, but at least it's not sticking out like a sore thumb anymore. It was not easy to paint once it was up. Should have thought about that before I put it up. :-)
