            | Jake Byrd | Belgium | I am a first year grower who can't find a good way to germinate seeds. Over the winter months I would like to try and find a fast, effective method of seed starting. Could some people PLEASE send me some "junk" seeds, like from "tiny" pumpkins to use as test seeds? I would appreciate this very much.

            | Mr. Sprout | Wichita, KS | Try this link. It is very instructional. If you are anything like me, you will want to over-water the seeds; don't do it! Barely moist gets the radicles out.http://www.bigpumpkins.com/ViewArticle.asp?id=66
I somehow lost my seed collection, so I can't send you any of my own seeds. However, you have a great chance of getting some from other growers here.

Judging from your post, it sounds like you are rolling into winter right now. Do you live in the southern hemisphere?
