            | (Doeski)Punkins | Vermont Green MTN State | Has anyone ever used root powder to encourage better root growth after transplanting? Like adding root powder to the hole you plant the seedling in?Doeski

            | Canuck | Atlanta, Georgia | I think I remember some people here reporting bad results trying this. Rooting powder is usually for starting cuttings such as grape vine clippings. Mycorrhiza is probably a much better idea but I'm not an expert.Good luck!

            | Brigitte | | I would use it on the stem nodes to get rooting there, before I would use it on the actual stump roots. But even on those nodes. pumpkins root real easily. | 3/2/2004 2:31:06 PM |
