I got my seed from auction today and it has mold where the root will grow. Will peroxide work without damaging the seed? If so, what ratio peroxide to water, and how long should i dip the seed. Thanks for any help as i need to make this one count.

I am assuming you are talking about black mold on the seed coat that is dry? If so, you are find. I soak all my seeds in a water/peroxide mixture at a 10/1 ratio for 4 hours. No problems with moldy seeds...ever. From there I dry them and put in the germination chamber.
