My big prblm. is that no local nursery or greenhouse seems to carry pro-mix BX...much less the HP stuff!!! Peace, WaynePS...at the very least a sterilized starting mix, and add yer own Mycho!!!

            | lcheckon | Northern Cambria, Pa. | A few years ago I searched the Premier web site to find dealers and then called the closest one(about an hour away) only to find that they distribute to a garden center only four blocks from where I work. Maybe try this approach Wayne. | 2/24/2010 12:27:02 PM |

            | ArvadaBoy | Midway, UT | I ended up not liking the Fox Farm's Light Warrior seed starting mix. It was a great seed starting mix, out performing any other mix that I tired, but what I didn't test when I did my test plantings is how well it stayed together when you tried to get the plants out of the pot. It is very light and as a result it doesn't clump together at all and I lost some roots when transfering the pumpkins into the ground. Already got my bag of Pro Mix BX and will be doing some test plantings next week. | 3/7/2010 8:36:48 PM |

            | Tommy G | Indianapolis,indiana46217 | Peace Wayne I'm in the nursery business in Indianapolis, In. Pro-mix HP is 30% perlite for better drainage. Pro-mix BX doesn't have that much perlite in it.John VanHook knows who I am, if you want me to get some for you I can do that for you. We have a couple places here in Indy that I can purchase it from. Tom Gary {Gary's Greenhouse, Inc.] P.S. Iwas at Nancy Last Fall and John always comes to Indiana State Fair | 3/15/2010 9:25:17 PM |
