I went and got one of these and tried a few sets of seeds, my results are as follows. As instructed in other posts the lid has got to be open or it will get to hot. The seeds were soaked for 24 hrs - in 30 inside the warmer 2 are out and the other two are not far behind. I can't say this worked any better than the heating pad and pill box method I have been using but it's a cost effective unit that will work well for those not having anything yet. One suggestion is to get one that has a sponge already.
Thanks for the tip, Kirk

LIL PATCH, I am so glad it worked. There are two types of warmers on the market on with a sponge and one WITHOUT, I have everthing posted on my diary, I would advised anyone who what to germinate this way to get the one WITH the sponge. Thanks again. and good luck Chris
