in my experience, i have found, as others have before me, lol, that when planting the AG seeds in the peat pots or seed-starting mix or whatever, if they are planted EDGEWISE, (like a moving fish) at the same depth you would normally plant them if you planted them pointed end down, RATHER than pointed end down, they almost always come up without the seed coats attached. this would be a good thing. try it sometime if you haven't ever. it might be better for you and the seedling. eric
