Well we heard the seasons first tree frogs peeping this evening, we have been 15 degrees above average and set an all time record for no rain fall in February... May have to move our germination times up a couple weeks. When is the best moon planting time for April? Waxing for above ground crops right???

The only "peepers" we have here wear dark clothing, hide in bushes and stare into windows. There have not been any out yet ,it's still too cold.

Weather forecasts for the NY says that we can expect at least a week of below average temps, maybe longer. I could do with a little warm weather right now. I'm getting tired of winter.

Still two feet of snow here. Spring still seems like a long way off yet. We won't hear the peepers for at least another month or more. If your coming to Niagara, bring something warm to wear. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Have a safe trip......Phil

too early for peepers here unless they have a jackhammer to get through the ice and snow.

We had our first "peepers" come out about four days ago. They were out in force last night. It was 46 degrees out last night with a little rain. Robins and geese have returned. There are a lot of Canadian geese here. They like my neighbors pond to raise their young. My wifes cat tried to kill of of them. He got a bloody ear and beat up for his trouble. I dont think he will bother them any more. There are a few insects buzzing around in the air here and there.

Hey Frank: I hadn't payed any attention until this morning. The peepers were singing away. I hauled some more manure yesterday. Can't wait to get some plants going!
