Here is the story on this patch. It is on my neighbors property. Before we bought our house I took a soil sample on a visit with our realtor. Apparently this is not something regular people do when buying a house. Anyway, after living here for a month we invited our neighbors over for dinner to officially meet them. The first thing our new neighbor said to me was: You can grow giant pumpkins on the back part of our property if you want to. After living here for 25 years I am tired of moving it.
That was before we even told them I was a pumpkin grower. I guess when a freak show moves in next door the word gets around! That was almost six years ago. I do mow the rest of the back part of their property for them now.
