The miracle grow product line is a mystery. I'm sometimes thinking to myself "how much chloride is this adding... should I really be adding this much chloride?" its on the ingredients but it doesnt say how much on the analysis.
Ps I thought that phosphorus was the issue, not iron. At high ph, iron binds with ???. I know that phosphorous binds with calcium and aluminum... and iron too. I figured it was all because blueberry plants know how to extract phosphorous from aluminum phosphate. But now I'm realizing I dont really know!

https://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/publication/SS555 More than you ever wanted to know about iron. Some plants are good at transporting iron throughout the plant and rarely show iron chlorosis (like pelargonium geraniums) Others suck at it like the ones I listed above.

I failed chemistry so realize any view point I have is from a practical working knowledge.

Nice. I'll read that too. I posted one about phosphorous under "fertilizing & watering". Nothing wrong with practical working knowledge. The truth is, life could go on without science, but it cant go on without getting your hands dirty!
