I use a product called biopest oil in citrus mainly for mites although it covers a lot of other insects a friend said when pm started on zucchinis he applied biopest and stopped the pm which surprised me but it is listed for pm on grapes although it kills aphids and so on its effectiveness on mites is also to do with the oily coating smothering on the leaf I get cautious and have to be aware of heat and uv as its still an oil but doesn't burn like white oil or dc-tron I haven't used it on pumpkins as my pm spray is tombstone which I find its most successful here biopest is used with sprays often as a spreader as long as its compatible check the label
