Looks fine to me but you'll have to inspect& babysit it.

I have stuck a sterile sonicare toothbrush (its other use is for pollinatimg tomatoes) on mine before just to make sure that any gunk or germs would have a difficult time of hiding.

The toothbrush together with some hydrogen peroxide almost puts you at laboratory cleanliness, I think.

I had that happen to my 1570 last year. I worried about it. NO problems with it for the rest of the season. As soon as I saw it I painted it with straight Daconil, no more problems for the rest of the year!

The only thing I might do is to cut that spot where the leaf was a bit closer to the vine. You dont want a pocket where water can collect. Make sure it can get out.

Thanks for the answers. It has doubled in size since yesterday and is lifting main and pulling roots out of the ground. Split looks fine. Now choices to be made in near future because I really like the position on the 6 lobe at 21' with 31 secondaries.
