That last bit is deep. Its easy to forget, and it creates problems when we forget. Gardening creates abundance and having an abundance solves all problems except maybe ignorance. But the tending part solves a lot of ignorance. Tending and learning are more or less the same thing, eventually.

Ironically the serpent offered knowledge, but they would already have obtained knowledge if they had just done what God had asked. Adam and Eve fell for the old bait and switch. Now their descendants ironically have very little knowledge, they got the opposite of what they were promised, hence the serpent is indeed a deceiver.

Alas, we're not supposed to need proof of any of this, just faith. But faith leads to wisdom. So... lets just call this wisdom, not proof.
