how many dap?, reduce water 30%, till dap 40 go 5% every 8 days, till max! whatever you think that should be,. just my thoughts. that sux,, for sure, go with the next one

At your level it's usually a water issue. I know how dialed in your nutrients are.
It hurts to look at.

I've reduced water by 40%. I have some areas in my patch where roots are coming out of the soil. I think that's a good indication of too much water. Maybe #2 will be luckier. Thanks for all the tips and espescially Curtlave.

Really sorry to see this Dave. I had a set of pumpkins one season that did this at around the same size. Up to that point I hadn't added boron during the season. To much water hadn't seemed to be the problem to me. I started adding borax/solubor to my water about once a week and haven't experienced it again (touch wood). Good luck
