Thanks guys I really appreciate the kindness, I turned 2 side vines and they each have a pumpkin that will be ready to pollinate in 1-3 days. It is just difficult for me to stomach that the pumpkin that split would have been well over 100lbs by the time I pollinate both of these ones. But on a positive note it still will be a really early pollination for my area and the plant is healthy and over 900sqft already, so it could turn out really good still.

Nice. Maybe you can compare the two side vine pumpkins. I love the comparison stuff! Its more interesting than just "luck"!!!
