Oh Ian its a good thing. Ensuring good solubility with suitably applied irrigation water is the soil nutrient key. A sharp acid leaning drench of H20 frees up a lot of tie up issues while breaking bonds of exchangeable cations... Growers don't talk about this. Put inputs it the soil before hand and let Mother Nature go to work. |
