I have a question, I'm somewhat new to the giant pumpkin game but I'm in it and hooked. I see this white powder ? around your plant and allot of others as well, what is it, what does it do ?

First I use Spectrum triazicide in a gallon of water and pour it around plant as it helps with bugs (like corn maggots) in the soil. The dust you see around the plant after watering in the transplants is seven dust to help with bugs also. I reapply every so often.

If you saw a white amendment in my garden it would probably be dolomite lime.
