You could put an appropriately-sized plastic container over each or one large plastic (or whatever) over all of them in a group. This would retain the heat which is a long way from the seeds and is flowing up and away rather than sort of remaining in the seed zone. Just thoughts and also a digital thermometer at seed level - I like my results with 88-92 F @ 72 hrs. eg

Yeah, if you want to win your local germination contest you gotta get rid of the evaporative cooling. I hate to even feed that animal because I dont think either germination speed or how good the plants look at week 2, correlates to a bigger pumpkin.
