Complex chemistry causes the pumpkin plant to grow... But you could just say that potassium equals rice & donuts, calcium equals ice cream, and C02 equals never getting off the couch... There's a simpler version of every complex thing. Oh and dont forget amino acids and phosphorus, aka hot dogs. See, no one needs a degree in biochemistry from a university... evolution already gave us one and we use it every time we go shopping!

Over fertilizing is a bigger problem than you may realize and will cause bigger issues all around. Maybe this link will help, maybe not. Your post last year “don’t stop the ferts” didn’t get any traction or discussion that you were looking for because most growers don’t grow the way you do. We all have our own style, whatever works for you is your style.
