Both placed 3rd in GPC Heaviest Tomato different years with a 8 pound plus tomato? After this I quit lol

8lb tomato is a part of the answer. Chris, no I dont graft my tomatoes. ( I did it years ago but not anymore)

Right on cool...finally! The squash part was the elusive one. I also noticed 3 growers who each grew a 1 ton pumpkin and squash! Jutrus, Skinner and Tobeck which is amazing. And Jutrus also a 150 inch long gourd as well! I imagine there are other category combinations too? Stats and trivia always fun and interesting. Congrats and best wishes this season.

Nice! Yeah Tobeck and Jutras havent hit 8 lbs but I knoe Cindy has grown some huge ones. Congrats to both of you, and I'm sure these bars will continue to be set higher & higher.

Yes Steve it was fun that Mehdi threw that trivia piece out there for the 2 of you. I always wondered how many growers share a special bond because they both grew a prized specimen and tied and so forth? And the way this whole sport/hobby is growing only going to get more interesting!
