Anyone get the final tally from Allardt?
Wallace Simmons won with a 817#, congrats Wallace!

For those of you who don't know who Wallace is, check out his stats on AGGC. He has quietly become the best grower in the South and improving yearly. I see a 1000 pounder for the South coming soon.....

He already owned the NC state record at 856#, then beat that this year if I'm not mistaken.

Wallace had one that was close at the North Carolina mountain State fair. It was 828 I think.

Wallace Simmons & family grew these pumpkins this year: 860 lbs (790 Daletas X 628 Simmons), 817 lbs, 805 lbs, 770 lbs, 756 est, 723 est 720 lbs etc. Pictures and genetics can be found on AGGC website very soon.

Allardt, Tennessee Pumpkin Festival

Allardt TN was the 817, the 860 was weighed on a certified scale in Kannapolis NC. Wallace & family grew 9 pumpkins over 600 pounds this year, the 860 was sold, but a bigger volume pumpkin was taken to Allardt which weighed light.
