If Barnesville is any indication on how Canfield is gonna go there should be some monsters there!!
I don't know any names, or exact weights but I saw a few 1200lbers, a few 11oolbers and, and a few 1000lbers.
I did see an awful pretty orange one that weighed in at 725lbs off the 1102 Pukos seed...
congrats to all at Barnesville!

My first weighoff at Barnesville. A charming little town with friendly people gathered around, excited to see the giant pumpkins. Great fun!
I won't claim 100% accuracy or name spelling, but my notes read like this: 1. 1523 - Bill Neptune 2. 1240 - David McMullen 3. 1220 - Mike Helberg 4. 1190 - Brooks Bosworth 5. 1186 - Todd Skinner 6. 1157 - Bob Christian 7. 1156 - Winston Wykcoff 8. 1137 - Jay Johnson 9. 1027 - Glenna Rea 10. 933 - Jim Bowen
Congratulations to all! And apologies to anyone if I didn't get their info quite right!
And Brooks....as you know, the announcer didn't give the parentage!

LOL Glenna!,, it was great seeing you there, you was a sight for sore eyes and your a great friend. Next time you need to move that announcer over and take the mic so that dont happen next year, the other reason is your alot prettier to look at then he is also, lol
I have to give alot of credit to Bill Neptune last night, the guy has been growing for many many years and was always coming up short with 2nd and 3rd place for as long as I can remember. He was way over due for a win and what a way to win it, not only did he get King pumpkin but he smashes the Barnesville record. He deserves that win more then any grower that weighed in a pumpkin in last night, and I congratulate him.
Bill Grew that monster with the 1556 Werner seed that went extremely heavy. What a huge pumpkin!
