Hi everyone...does anyone happen to have any contact information for the current Missouri weighoff director? I am trying to figure out what date to plant my seeds and need to know when the weighoff will be. Also, if a pumpkin is grown in missouri and then weighed in a neighboring state does that pumpkin still qualify for the Missouri state record? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
Steve

Steve, if you grow a pumpkin in Missouri and have it weighed in another state it counts for a record in Missouri (as long as it is heavier than any pumpkin ever grown in Missouri) and it gets listed or positioned at the weighoff site it is weighed at. I live and grow in Maine and compete at Topsfield Fair in Ma. Hope this helps, Al

Steve, It's nice to see another Missourian out here. The only info I have ever seen is below.
Republic Great Missouri Weigh Off Carl Huffman 199 North Hwy. 60 REPUBLIC MO 65738 417 732-7855
I found it at: http://www.backyardgardener.com/gpc.html
I have never contacted it, so I'm not sure how accurate it is. The city of Republic is by Springfield.
Hope this helps, Paul
