I always like to crunch numbers during the season and come up with a somewhat educated guess as to what the biggest official weight will be. So here it goes- I predict an official weight of 1386.8 lbs. Anyone else care to venture a guess???

1273 lbs. I think there will be a monster out there over 1300, but it will be an exhibition weight only.

Well Folks I hate to spoil this thread but really I don't think the 1262 Emmons will go down this year. If I'm wrong and I sometimes am, the new record will be 1298.5 and will be grown with a Daletas seed as a parent.

has a top 100 list... it used to be a top 1000 but it was too hard for Duncan to keep it up. it's easy to do a simiple curve fit to the largest grown but you get different results depending on how many years you go back.

East Coast Dudes, Heard rumors that Brett is hiding something really BIG! It's so big that he has had to strangle the vine in order to keep it in his patch! You will notice that he is keeping very quite and has not posted a thing on this subject. I'd say that the East Coast boys haven't a prayer this year. You're just going to have to get used to the idea that the World Champion Pumpkin will always reside in the Pacific Northwest! Wouldn't you guys go "ballistic" if you got beat by 1.6 pounds once again? The GPC will have to provide psychiatric care for the forlorn and disheartened I'm afraid. It's sad....so sad!

On the eve of Oct. 5th ,when the dust settles & the smoke clears onlookers with jaws agape stare in complete & total amazement at the silhouette of a man standing by a pumpkin the size of which has never been seen in our lifetime, pondering only for a second if this is the reason for Stone Henge. And the man, with fists raised bellows.......... FINALLY THE CROWN HAS COME BACK TO ........OOOHIOOOooo And suddenly, as though they have been cued the crowd starts chanting his name.....................................to be continued.
