what to compete against competition in your own experience level?
tired of being beaten out because you dont have the skills yet to weigh in with the big boys and girls?. possibly you just yearn for a new type competition , one that pits you and a couple friends skills against peeople of the same skill levels all over the world? you betcha you are.
just a tid-bit of info regarding a specialized weighoff competition im putting together on behalf of and to be sponsored in part by ( sngpg/gpc/bp.c )
multiple teams /multiple levels of competition/club teams/state teams/teams made up of members from various areas of the world/you name it we will probably have it in this competition.
all proceeds will be split between sngpg/gpc/bp.c to be used to further this great hobby.
more news to follow in late winter or early spring
thanks pap

yep wiz its gonna be a great tournament. teams comprised of three growers ( from any location) can enter any one of three skill levels. you can even be on more than one team so long as the same fruit does not get weighed at your designated weigh off site. nuff said more facts and info late spring.
stay tuned, this one beats tug hands down.

Pap, I'd like to suggest a "girl power" category. There are a couple gals in my area who I would love to team up with - I haven't talked to them, but they've got the spirit to take on a good challenge! Now a suggestion for the prize....the winning team of women get flown to RI to spend the day and have dinner with you!!....Glenna
