I have been waiting for the state just east of Colorado to get growing again..lol, I can not see any problem of a 1000+ puonder no problem at all coming out of Kansas with the right grower. If I moved 300 miles east I would be in Kansas at a much lower altitude with prime conditions ( very warm evenings) for even more tornadoes and hail ..lol, But the giants should be way easier in Kansas to produce than Colorado. congratulations, I will bet they keep getting bigger in Kansas at a fast rate compared to Colorado your western neighbor..Happy Growing

Congrats Guys. I grew up in Manhattan, Kansas and have an idea of the adverse conditions you have to deal with growing there. Wind, wind, and more wind, heat and humidity. I'm glad to see the Sunflower State's record go up...when it was 405 lbs I was tempted to move back for a summer to try to break it...I think I'd rather stay in California!
