Thanks to whoever is putting up the early pics of the Topsfield contenders! this is great.... We can see and pic the one we like or guess the weigh if your so inclined.. My bet is the Connelly fruit is the winner! anyone else venture to guess? I was looking for fellow PNW growers ( the LaRue's) who are attending this event. If ya see them there .say hi from Shell GG

Shellie: Jack and Sherrie were indeed there, i didn't see them get into any of the online picts. how-ever in the Boston Globe Sunday paper there is a pict. of the winning pumpkin being lifted up by the carriers (myself included) and who is in the background on his union break but Jack, i got an extra paper and will Jack the pict of him and the pumpkin.

We will be working through the night to provide a weigh-offs page similar to the one we did for the Big-E. We had hoped to have it up on Saturday, but the connection at Topsfield proved to be too slow..
Also, continue to check out the new "In the News" page, as articles are published on the Internet, they are harvested and the links are placed on our page. There is a great one out there now from the Salem Nightly News...
GG, Ken and I spoke to Jack, he was extremely nice to us... he mentioned that you had a good picture of his lifting rig... could you send that our way?
