It went heavy, OTT was 370 for a estimate of 1060. Grown from a 351 Langevine.

Full Results will be up on mainepumpkins.com in a couple days. Congratulations to Tom and John for having the first 2 pumpkins in Maine over 1000. As a heartbreaking side note, John Powers also had another fruit that had a blown blossom that went 1170. Great day in Maine, nice job everyone.

Well, we got Tom's other fruit loaded up and ready to head out for Topsfield in the morning. It tapes half an inch less than the 1114 but she has a difficult shape to measure. Just by looking at it, he's all over 1000 for the second time this year, but we'll find out in the morning.
Good Luck Tom and for anyone headed down, look for the lawn gnome strapped to the pumpkin.....:)

Just a follow-up to the above post. Tom's Topsfield pumpkin weighed in at 1000.4 lbs... 2 over 1000 in his rookie year. Well done Tom, but it had to be the luck of the gnome...hehe
