I Removed several vine borders today. I had to cut them out of the vine.
I have read some people say leave them alone other say cover them . What can I do to the vines now where I remove the Borers?

Any cuts you make in the vines need some sort of fungicide powder, and keep them dry until they are healed. Also if there is any brown discoloration it will need to be cut out also or it will continue to rot.if it's in the main put a fan on it also. Where did you cut them out of and how big were svb

It was the main, they were big about a half inch. I cut out one plant it was too far gone. Can they travel to other plants through the roots? I have a few plants in the hill. 3 had them 2 do not
