I regret to inform you of the passing of Mr. Fenton McInnis. Fenton was a top AG grower in Canada in the 80-90’s, and well known for the 810 McInnis from ‘96. He was a pioneer of FP’s and broke the world record in 2010 with his 142 lber; many of today’s FPs can be traced back to the 145 McInnis. Fenton loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and gardening. He was a great story teller and kind soul. The last few years Fenton had health concerns which made it difficult for him to enjoy his passions but was always monitoring diary’s and the activities on the BP community. He was my FP mentor and why I’ve had success. I was honoured to call him my friend and he will be greatly missed by all that had the pleasure to know him . Rest in Peace Magoo

That is sad. He called me up when I grew my 137. I was thrilled! I learned a lot in that next hour. I spoke with him after a few times. Yes, he will be missed, because he did so much.
