I am a first time pumpkin grower and while I have my plants covered with shade cloth, one of my plants consistently is wilting in the late morning and all afternoon. The two others do a little as well, but one looks like it’s near death at times. By 8:00 in the evening and a couple hours after watering it comes back to life and isn’t hardly wilted. First thing in the morning it looks good as well. Why are they wilting, is there anything that I can do and why does one plant wilt more than others?

Good news is that it hasn't wilted in two days. I have recently found nice new roots coming from my burying of the main vine. That and not having 100 degree days lately may be helping. Will see next week when the heat returns.
Where do I look for boreres?
