Wow!... it’s our fourth year with this contest!...let’s do it again!. Need a refresher? This is a tomato contest where we gather teams of three people to put up their best 2 tomato weights for a team total of 6 tomatoes. This year we will host both the Open division (make your team of three), and THe DRAFT division where we will select teams of 3 based on previous PB numbers. Please sign up with your personal best weight if you would like to join the draft, or sign-up your team and Team Name for the “Open”.
Prize structure- Open division- fist place - awesome trophies(team makin trophies) and 100.00 to each team member.
Draft division- first, second and third place trophies....50.00, 25.00, 10.00.
We will also have trophies for rookie of the year, the “Crash and Burn award”, greenbuds “SMaSH Award.”, and of course....THe CUP!!!!!...I know we are a little late with the sign-up, but let’s try to spread the word to get folks signed up...draft will be in a few weeks. gOOd LUCK eVryOne!!!....

They do Jake!... the top ten “site” award . It’s what gave me the idea... pumpkin weights started to skyrocket once “teams” and “clubs” started popping up everywhere..folks getting together and sharing ways to improve our soil, train plants more efficiently, feed and water properly, and genuinely Be cheerleaders for each other during the season. It’s kinda like what we do here on this website. And look how far we’ve come in the last 4 years...holy mackerel...when I say this contest has the BeSt giant tomato growers in the world, I ain’t kidding...look at those weights above...yikes!!...the best of the best going at it head to head...?....the best of the best teaming up with the newest of the new?..trophies?...THE CUP!!??...oh baby...my seeds should be up soon...good luck everyone...please sign up...we’re gonna have some fun this season.

And another thing- i didn’t want to go too nuts posting last years info/results because we do have a trivia contest in the works. Zeke is having some computer issues but he has been keeping all sorts of stats these last couple of years through this contest . We know who and where the PB’s are being set...who is quickly moving up in the world standings, who has the “every other year” domingo blues...lots of good stuff.. huge thanks Zeke...we’ll get it worked out. You da MAN!
