I filled a five gallon bucket with my dirt mix and then dumped it into the oddly porcelain toilet water resevoir. They were the same volume. I hope I get a guiness record for largest tomato grown in a toilet.

I added a couple gallons of mirical grow potting soil a quart of old grass clippings a handful of jobes fruit and nut fertilizer a tablespoon of high potassium balanced granular with micronutrients and watered with a teaspoon of miracle grow tomato food and a little epsom and calpril and azos. I will probably do some foliar compost tea or magnesium sulfate. The thing I forgot to add was wood ash its a little tricky but both Sutherland and Macoy used it I think. Its toxic by itself and needs to be mixed with compost or humic or it will mess them up. I also forgot to add any alfalfa... which should be in the form of manure or composted for a few months for better results... Hope that answers your question.

... About three gallons of my own dirt... its pretty lifeless moon dust. So it wont grow anything unless I somehow add some life to it.

I thought you would also have urea in you bucket. After all, toilets are where manure and urea go.
