Orangeneck (Team HAMMER)

Eastern Pennsylvania

My second tomato entry is still missing. It is 3.35 pounds and listed on the GPC results page for 2019. With that added, the race for first will be tight!

My tomatoes won't be ready until the Gale Woods weigh off. If a few flash early, it's time to go to the butcher shop around the corner from me.

By the way, the team competition has been run beautifully this year! From sign up, deadlines, updates, the way it’s suppose to be. Thank you Zeke and Porkchop.

New stats are out. Lots of moving around this week.

Materdoc's team 11 keeps weighing bigger one's all the time and increasing their lead. Team sLamMer on the move for sure and showing some big one's to come!

Rebel Rousers and Always a 10 starting to move up too now that they're the whole team is starting to weigh em.

And then there's the quiet teams....what's going on with them.

I wonder how common this phrase will soon be:

"Hey look what I found hiding in the weeds"

Actually I think our team needs a bonus tomato per grower to keep up with those monsters

Ha!!...look who’s talkin lunker!!.,,hell of year from you...wondering what you’ve got “left in the weeds”...you got a great captain, hope your soaking up the info because yer gonna do really well with these..

Think I weeded my garden too well also, not much hiding in there. There are a few late ones that are coming along but not expecting anything special from them, but there's always a chance...….Have gotten a lot of encouragement from captain Materdoc along the way that has helped, even a few wise words from that Rebel guy. Yet after all that it seems that you might have one tomato that will outweigh everything I've grown this year, LOL

Nice to see some are succeeding (like porkchop)
I need no sandbagging this year, Chris, it´s bad.
With a little late luck, I will be able to enter a second four lbs tom off the 4.28 Spaziani before virtual weigh off will be finished.
I´m still hoping one of the remaining four fruits (at other plants)keeps green and growing until European Championship to become my seasons best but way to go.
