So if the tomato falls off the stem can i glue it back on? Newbie here... Actually what happened is one lobe separated from the stem with a crack going a half inch into the tomato. Three lobes are still attached and growing. Has this happened to anyone else? Will she hobble to the finish line like this? The tomato is all connected still just a portion is no longer connected directly to the stem... Too many lobes and fourth got pushed on & detached. Any comments from folks who have seen this happen before please?

I applied fungicide. I will try to get some pics up. Measuring 17.25 & probably under 20 days old.

I do see this issue was addressed recently in the 'should I use sulfer for cracks' post. I think that post covers this issue so... nevermind.

Hi Glenomkins,
I’ve got some more recent pics of the same tomato up in my diary.
The lobe that pulled away is ripening first, but the rest of the tomato I think is still growing. It’s put on another inch since I noticed the first blush on the first segment:

It’s been about two weeks since the split appeared, but i’ve still got the tomato on the plant. I’m going to harvest soon, when I think that first lobe is as ripe as i can let it.

Never mind the tomato pulling away from the stem....you have a tomato big enough to do that! That's great for our team! Now, to be a A/B grower, carry this thing to the finish line. Keep that area as dry as possible. I have sprinkled some sulphur on mine before in the past but that's a judgement call. If it's dry and doing fine just leave it. Rebel Rousers!
