We are having one of the wettest seasons ever here in central Pennsylvania. It has rained almost every day for the last two weeks. It is pouring down now. Just got a flood warning. The ground is so saturated that no water will go in. It is standing in puddles and running off. The corn is soaked. The guys having to work outdoors like roofers cannot work. What a year we are having. Some gardens are under water. Rain, rain, go away. Or go elsewhere. We have had enough.

Strange year ! We had a 6 week hot spell and drought. Lost most of my best megablooms. Now we have nice nornal weather and our first good rain the other night. Now the rocky mountian states are having the heatwave with 250 wildfires !!! Even the uk is having it worst drought since the 1970's

Be careful what you wish for Qtip. You might get a bonus of hail.

The national weather service announced yesterday that my area had exceeded the average July rainfall total by 10 inches. 14.93 inches for the month of July. Most of that 10 has fallen in the last 2 weeks.

Still very hot & in a drought here in Cameron. Got 1/4" last night. I think the dust ate it all up. We have had only 3" of rain since early June & most of that came in 2 days in couple weeks ago. Glad I don't have 4 pumpkin plants this year. Got enough for our 11 tomato plants & reg garden, so that is all that maters. ;o)
