Maybe. Possibly. It is not easy to get into the mind of a tomato plant and know what is going on in there.

I think rebel is turning to the Onion Side.
Don't go there... I need help still... lol. Ps the 2.06 is a good grower no consistency with the blooms one had a long ribbon... only got it partially pollinated though.

My zachearts are small like my bigzacs. I don't know why i can't grow bigzacs ? I have 3 7.10 fosses one plant turned inti a drarf and im not getting anything on the other 2 ?

I think the heat may have had some effect on my first truss megabloms. They were smaller for me and i had a much harder time to pollinate them this year. Many of them just sat their after pollination.

Hey! I am super proud of the onions! I got this down and can predict one year to the next. To get them larger next year I will start the seed earlier. I will grow seeds out from the largest next year.

Now the tomatoes I'm totally confused with. No ribbon vines. No giant megablooms. Last year it seems I had huge flowers on every plant. Plants look awesome this year and plenty of flowers! But I'm thinking I will my 7 pounder different this year...it's not about the size of your flower or ribbon vine, it's all about tomato size. I have very healthy plants and roots so not worried, just patient. This is a good message to the newbies.

I do think it’s climate and soil related.
Have had a below average summer heat wise.
Have improved my soil a lot and having far better luck than I ever had.
Plants are best looking ever.
I guess some of the credit belongs to Porkchop too....

Still too early for me to decide how this year compares to last. In the last few days..i have seen some good 1st truss megas coming on my later plants. From what I can see...I am getting better 1st truss megas than many of the newer growers that I sent seeds too. Makes me think that it is not just genetics. I know during the winter...depending on the ratio of nutrients that I would give the plant..I could get supermegas at the risk of completely shutting down or making really weird the foliage growth. Heat could make a difference..in how the plant takes up the various nutrients in the ground. Will be doing more experimentation next winter....i am thinking that I could push most of my genetics to a ribbon blossom with the right timing of ratios. This summer has been low effort...but I still have about 10% ribbon megas. They wont grow big...i dont have the time to push them. The next level of giant tomato growing is just around the corner.

Lol...that’s all you esheel...we’re just knocking our heads together to shake out some of our BP.com education...I think it’s working this year....my earlier blossoms were smaller and it was hot...either way, I learned to take that as a sign from the plant it wasn’t ready...bigger ones starting to show...here anyway...hopefully on the va eastern shore...Domingo’s should like the heat these next few days...oh baby, I’m getting close...lambchop better finish those signs...

Lol Porkchop.
The ZacHeart was first to blossom.
Now I’ve got decent looking blossoms on 6 of the 9 planted.
Lost a few good ones too.
Domingos are starting to show !
