I have a 6.79 Sutherland that is showing no signs of blight even though most of my garden is affected. I have received an email from Garden Rebel that he told me that his mega-crosses are showing the least effects. I went out and checked my plants...yes the megamuttd and megamuttZ,that I have going have no effect. I also have a megazac with no effects and only minimal signs on two other megazacs. I think megamarv crosses might show a tolerance against blight. What other seeds do you have growing that are showing resistance?

Blight has wiped out 3 of my 4. Only one not affected was my 2.13 from last year. Off of the 4.79 Terry. Think that's a Big Zac. Too bad I haven't had but one tomato off those 4 all year.

That black stem is likely to to blight. Blight usually hits in late season when the morning due starts up. It usually starts on older and mature leaves and then spreads up the plant eventually consuming the entire plant.but you can get it anytime you have to much water or damp to wet environment.

I had blight on almost all my tomatoes last year. An old time gardener told me to powder around the whole tomato plant base with captan early in the season. I tried it this year and all my tomatoes were blight free. The farmer I rent my house from gardens right next to me had blight on all his tomatoes. I'll for sure be doing it again next year.
